Introduction
This proposal focuses on upgrading the furniture and infrastructure in two large classrooms, each with a seating capacity of over 150 students, to ensure enhanced comfort and modern functionality. The proposed upgrades will include:
- Comfortable chairs with lumbar support, paired with spacious desks designed for long-duration use, and
- Installation of power plugs at every desk to enable students to use laptops and other electronic devices conveniently.
The current classrooms are in good structural condition, with proper soundproofing, false ceilings, adequate lighting, and air conditioning, making them ideal for these upgrades.
Estimated Timeline for the Project
6 Months
- 3 months for procurement and
- 3 months for installation.
Expected Impact
The proposed furniture and infrastructure upgrade will enhance student comfort that will reduces fatigue and improves concentration during long lectures. It will also support digital learning due to access to power outlets at desks enables students to use laptops and tablets seamlessly. Modern designs will create an inviting and professional learning environment. This project aligns with the institution’s commitment to providing an optimal learning environment and will directly benefit over 300 students daily.
