IIT (BHU) was back with the 84th edition of Asia’s oldest Techno-Management Fest, the Technex, IIT (BHU) Varanasi.
This year, the annual technical fest was held from 17th to 19th March 2023 and in offline mode!
With its multitude of events in fascinating domains, Technex is designed to empower the new generation with the technologies and skills of the future.
Some of the events organized under Technex 2023:
- Events in the coding field, including International Coding Marathon, events based on Artificial Intelligence, Software and Game Development, and Cybersecurity.
- Robonex had multiple robotics events, like Robowars focusing on the intersection of robot control and dynamics, machine learning, and image processing.
- Technex also hosted a myriad of events in diversified domains like Astronomy, Venture Capital Investment, CAD design, Hydraulic Machinery, Aerial robotics, Gaming Dungeon, and much more!
Technex also witnessed a host of eminent personalities grace the Institute this year. These speakers include Ashneer Grover, Founder, Bharat Pe, Gaurav Chaudhary, aka Technical Guruji and many more.
Technical Guruji, an engineer, boasts over 23M subscribers on YouTube, where he answers technology questions.
Students also experienced the future of autonomous robots with the showcase of Indro. This latest iteration in the incredible innovation from India is a game-changer in the world of robotics, featuring cutting-edge technology and intelligent design that makes it an ideal solution for various applications.
IIT (BHU) was also greatly obliged by hosting Padma Shri Sankar Kumar Pal, the President and Former Director of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. He is a renowned computer scientist with an international reputation in fuzzy neural networks, soft computing, and machine intelligence, who guided students through the world of computing.
Our esteemed alumnus, the face of JEE Physics, and the CEO and Founder of Motion Academy, Mr. Nitin Vijay (CER ‘07), was invited to Technex. Besides being a TEDx speaker, Mr. Nitin has been featured in BW’s 40 under 40 Achiever 2021.
Popular among students as NV Sir, he graced the event with an interactive talk at his alma mater, IIT (BHU). In addition to having a love for the topic, he has inspired numerous students and helped them develop a passion for physics.
He shared his experiences while giving insights from his long and illustrious career.
During his time at the Institute, his passion for teaching led him to start his own Institute in Varanasi for Physics, named Kota Point, in his second year of engineering.
Besides, Technex had many workshops on themes like Cloud Computing, Digital Marketing, Artificial Intelligence, GPT, Industrial Automation, Automobile design, Robotics and much more!
