Introduction

The project aims to establish a Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory to equip students with practical skills in emerging technologies. The lab will feature modules on robotics and automation, AI and big data, cloud computing and cybersecurity, IoT, virtual and augmented reality, blockchain, smart greenhouses, and Industry 4.0.
These modules will provide hands-on experience and training in key areas such as automated systems, data analytics, secure cloud infrastructure, connected devices, immersive environments, decentralized transactions, environmental management, and modern manufacturing techniques.
The lab establishment will mainly include the following:
- Infrastructure Setup: Acquisition of essential hardware and software for all technological modules, including robotics, big data, and blockchain.
- Operational Costs: Coverage of utilities, minor renovations, and maintenance during the first year of operation.
- Miscellaneous and Contingency: Budget for unforeseen expenses and flexibility in execution.
Estimated Timeline for the Project
12 Months
- 8 months for Acquisition and Installation
- 4 months for Implementation and Launch.
Expected Impact
The laboratory aligns with India’s NEP 2020 and aims to significantly enhance technological skills, thereby improving student employability in fields such as robotics, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
The establishment of this lab will prepare students for successful careers in rapidly advancing sectors like IoT, AI, and Industry 4.0, fostering innovation and contributing to academic excellence.
